Don't you love it when you're getting mugged by a guy with a pistol and you don't stand a chance?

Well, I certainly am not, so I thought of a approach that I TOTALLY DIDN'T rip off of Cider and HL2RP.
Actually I did, I lied! Mwhahahahahahah! Ahem, right. So I figured this helped serious roleplay a LOT in Sloth Gaming so why not have it here?
Here's how it works:
1. A person types in "/roll"
2. The console randomly picks a number in between 1 and 100
3. The console prints "[Insert Player Name Here] has rolled a [number] out of 100!"
4. Highest number wins. Could be used for casinos as well.

Pretty simple.

Here's an example scenario:
Bob the Gangster: Hey! Give me $300!
Toby the Civilian: Umm... I only have $200 on me currently.
* Bob the Gangster cocks his pistol as a warning
*Toby the Civilian attempts to shove the man away
[Bob and Toby must both roll to see if Toby succeeds]
** Bob the Gangster has rolled a 50 out of 100!
** Toby the Civilian has rolled a 46 out of 100!
[Now Bob can either be nice and go with Toby's action, or just shoot him]

I support the idea, but I think people wouldn't use it/wouldn't stay if you enforce it as a rule.
I mean we already are allot more serious than other servers, this would be just a bit too mutch for most people.

Anyways just my opinion, please don't hate.

Nah, its pretty correct.

Cider Two failed for a reason. It's not Interesting enough [HL2RP], and it's too close to DarkRP. DarkRP will stay DarkRP. That is, a lag filled, rule breaking, clusterfuck.

How about just make people play to lose? Get shoved away, shoot blindly at the ceiling then run away.

Did you really need to mug that guy when you had 5 printers and a weed plantation back at base?

Personally I don't have to shoot cops coz I just accuse them of metagame/fear rp then the mod comes and kicks them for me. I see you're point tho. In the absence of a mod (or if they're pretending to roleplay) it is of utmost important to KOS any cops or people near by incase they commit failrp.

This idea would make rp scenes a lot longer and newbies wouldn't know about it until someone does it. The way it works atm is good. Even if he was to push someone over with a gun at him he would be breaking fearRP and get kicked.

Roll is disliked by majority of the HL2RP and other clockwork players. Play to lose seems to be what most people like more. I also spoke about this briefly with Ted, a while back, he is one of the people that prefer play to lose.
