Goodbye - The end of an era.

It has been a pleasure, it really really has.
From CSRP being a Moderator to admin to Head-Admin, to HGRP where I was then Head-Admin and then Co-Owner - to the last of the chain of IGRP where I owned the server it feels like such a cheap way to go out to DDOS after a year of growing such an amazing group of people - but sadly, there are no more options.
I cannot thank-you all enough for being so supportive, this community is the greatest I have come across and some of the people have been amazing. We have hit an amazing milestone of hitting 78th place in the world on gametracker on this server, and we was only going higher but we had to change ip (due to ddos). I do think this server would have of reached an extremely high level as the community was so strong.

After HGRP closed, I took the torch of being the server owner as I didn't want to lose such an amazing community, but sadly there is nobody anymore to do such a thing from those who were big in CSRP. I never expected IGRP to be such a success. A big thankyou to Fulcrum for all the help with coding the server also. Nothing hurts me more than having to close, but sadly there was no choice.

(If you are considering making a new server I don't suggest talking about it on the forums as whoever is DDOSING us will follow you and continue. It's apparant that GMOD on the whole is no longer playable, as whoever wants to DDOS you, can DDOS you and there is nothing that can be done. )

Oh IGRP, RIP. :'(

I'm one of the few that were there on CSRP, being a supposed 'tranny' (sigh, Goose)
Then on HGRP, you guys accepted me as the person I am, even with my terrible voice on the mic
Now on IGRP, being an admin gave me the sense of responsibility in my life (cos' I can be a real bitch irl)

This last generation was certainly the best.

The forum still stays, hopefully we still have some active users here to keep the community alive, but of course, it's sad to see the server go, especially to DDoS.

First question: No, it was just too much DDoS to keep up, an attack even exceeded the 1GB line and the data center had nullrouted the IP.
Second question: No longer, it's closed.

I don't recommend posting your new server on the forums. As whoever is DDOSING us knows the forums and is only going to follow.

I agree. This was the only DarkRP server i've enjoyed because of the seriousRP Part.

I was gonna carry on IGRP after Dan closed. I even spoke to him about it, asking for the game mode and shit, he agreed, BUT I didnt expect it to be this soon lol.

i know im banned from server, and dont like any of you. but its a shame too see it go, as it was for csrp and hgrp even though igrp pissed me off coz ur had shit staff, it was probably the best coded of all 3. anyway hope this community gets a new home it deserves one.
