Serious RP suggestion Empty Serious RP suggestion

Just a suggestion for the way the server COULD be like.

Depending on what map you choose for the server, The city (or what ever area it is) is dominated by brutal military operatives. Cops are more military based. So really what I'm saying with that is that there are no cops, Only military. So the equivalent of cops would/could be (really depends on what you want) Privateers, Sergeants (donator job) and High Command Officers (donator job). I don't see a reason for the Mayor job to be changed also with this, colour mod will help with the seriousness.

Gangs would be a resistance of some kind, but if you want to get creative and re-name the jobs to something other than "Rebel" or "Rebel leader" then that is entirely up to you.

Opinions?

Sounds interesting, new and different compared to the usual hl2rp or normal rp themed cop system - would take some work getting up on its feet and well working I imagine but it could be cool.

BUT if this gets implemented I imagine that the cops would be a bit overpowered considering they are a part of the military and will most likely be carrying rifles or atleast heavier equipment than just pistols..

I really want to move away from the combine type of stuff.
I was thinking more real-life themed, if done properly, it would work very well.

All up to you, but I do stress that you or anyone finds a way to make it serious. Serious RP is hard but is fun in a different way.

why does serious=Dicatorship syle in your mind?
for cops you act with as much fear as possible
medics/docs should look up diseases
maybe somehow implement a disease system: where the person infected is changed to a diseased model or something (if possible) then that person will be affected sort of by a hungermod style thing.

sidenote: what will server playerslot number be?

It's going to be hard to make it serious if its Dark RP.
No matter what we do it's going to be hard really. Ah well, we can only try.

I want cops to act as if they was a cop IRL, we don't want these insanely feared cops. Just normal cops, however you fear breaking the law etc due to the consequences.
Disease system sounds good, implements more into the Medical RP.

And playerslot 30 most likely
