E3 2013
I've been wondering if any of you have been watching some of E3
Are you Xbox one or PS4?
Personally I would go for PS4. Also can't wait for some of these games especially watch dogs

I have no interest on buying either but if I had to choose it would have to be the Playstation four.
PC gaming is superior to consoles in my opinion.

Exactly my opinion.
Except I would love to play halo, it's just sad that you can't get it for Playstation
Besides, it would be stupid of me to buy one of the new consoles since my computer is more powerful.

Re: E3 2013
If I had to pick, obv PS4, you can share games ect. also the Xbox One looks ugly as fck
Xbox One - £49 for a year on xbox live, 49x12= £588.
Xbox One- You can't share games. PS4- You can.
Xbox One- About $499.
Xbox One- Is ugly as fuck.
The Xbox One overall is the biggest piece of shit, bigger than Virtual Boy, which I'd rather play. PS4 (although PC's are the best) is going to be a better console.

There will always be consoles. Consoles are far more popular than PCs. PCs are too expensive (if you are wanting a top of the range one) and require constant maintenance and are difficult to set up (dependant on your skills and ability). Console gaming is likely going to expand for years to come and eventually, when a console become obsellite, It will only be a matter of time before it is an antique. What I am saying is, consoles won't die out in the next few years. The Scavenger wrote:nealw2006 wrote:I have no interest on buying either but if I had to choose it would have to be the Playstation four.

Console= Someone who is too lazy to take out parts and input new and better ones or don't know how to do it and/or unwilling to learnBassman274 wrote:The Scavenger wrote:nealw2006 wrote:I have no interest on buying either but if I had to choose it would have to be the Playstation four.

PC= you can get very good desktop PCs for £309, your thinking of Alienware style PCs where they make it out to be super expensive

Re: E3 2013
No, Alienware's are awful.
Yes, that' right, they're awful. You can build a much better and cheaper one yourself.
Xbox was superior to the PS3, nobody can argue against that, it's mutually agreed nowadays.
However, the PS4 appears to be better in terms of money compared to the Xbox One. Therefore, many people are favouring it. If I had to choose any of them at this stage it would be the PS4.
PC's are the best option out of everything, they shouldn't even be compared to anything else. You save money over time and play them with great quality (depending on the gaming setup you have).

Re: E3 2013
No you cant. I looked everywhere for the parts etc and it came to £400 and it wasn't even that good. Which is the only reason I am sticking with console gamingFelor Metlock wrote:Bassman274 wrote:The Scavenger wrote:nealw2006 wrote:I have no interest on buying either but if I had to choose it would have to be the Playstation four.

Re: E3 2013
Use Scan.co.uk or Ebuyer.com for cheap but good parts for pc and fully set up pcs.
Just be on the site when the summer or winter deals are on they do go quite cheap.

You can get a good pc for £400...
My PC cost £410 or something like that.
I play all my games ultra at 40+
(games like Crysis 2, Crysis, Hitman, Far Cry 2 and 3, Metro 2033) etc..
I play at 720p
Asus P8Z77-M
Nvidia GTX 650
Intel i3 3240 @ 3.4ghz
built by me (always build your own pc, will be much cheaper)

Re: E3 2013
Computers will always be better at everything, you can't expect a computer that costs as much as a console to do as good as a high-end computer. It can still play games at a better performance than consoles, yes, but it can also handle video, audio editing, programming, lots of different activities.

Re: E3 2013
Computers also need constant maintenance, my brother is always tweaking with his computer because of something and my brothers mate's computer didn't start up in the first place and he had to buy a new part because he did something wrong and broke it. Consoles is just plug in and play to me and when it breaks claim off a warranty if you have one. Although computer gaming offers far better graphics depending on your set-up, playing a game for the graphics is like watching porn for the storyline. Enhances it but is never really paid attention to apart from the first 5 minutes. Consoles have probably as many advantages/disadvantages as computers do. You guys seem to worship computers like they are your supreme overlords and absolutely shun consoles and everyone who uses them.Alex_v wrote:Computers will always be better at everything, you can't expect a computer that costs as much as a console to do as good as a high-end computer. Re: E3 2013
The point is you cannot compare PC's to consoles. PC's are superior, always will be. If you're willing to place atleast £800-£1000 into a computer without a doubt it will save you money over time compared to consoles. (You dont even have to spend that money in the first place.)
Constant Maintenance? Unless the computer is bad or you download a virus you should be fine.

Re: E3 2013
Not sure what the frame rate for the Xbox one or PS4 will be, but the cap for the Xbox 360 was on 30 for most games, whereas on a PC you can get as much fps as possible (unless you limit it because of taring or w/e) depending on your GPU and CPU
