Law change advert

As I play for a long time on a server (2+ hours usually) many mayors come and go, and some change laws too.
As an example, today I saw a mayor put up the laws, so I were acting upon them, but meanwhile mayor changed them.
So I am suggesting when mayor edits the lawboard that he has to advert it so all players are aware there are new laws, or some may been lifted.

As far for the RP it is not uncommon for countries to in a way advertise new laws or lawchanges.

I saw a nice thing on another server hwere the laws are displayed on players HUDs I might try do it sometime.

i got arrested on the server twice because of that problem Pjosip.

eventough i explained it to them they were like you are lying and arresting me. i just let it pass but i think some people might see is as RDA

Same here, we might be talking about the same server

I believe that it is your responsibility to know the laws. Just have the mayor put up a few lawboards, the map isnt big so youre often near them. However a simple global message would still be nice, for all you lazy bastards who cba to go and read the laws.

Mayor should broadcast new laws?

ITs the mayors job to keep his citizens informed. I would demote a mayor being a dick using the laws to catch ppl out.

It's not that we don't read the laws, but it is frustrating that I read one set of laws, bought a gun, spent 10 minutes working in a clinic as a medic and then as I walk out I get arrested cause meanwhile already 3 mayors changed and suddenly all guns are illegal.

One thing is when you have one mayor every 30 minutes, other thing is when you have 20 mayors in 30 minutes, and not every mayor broadcasts when he changed the laws.
