Buyable torch
Make it so ppl gotta buy their torches.
Advantages:
Underground darkness could be fully exploited for hiding stuff
Less ppl running round with torches on all the time
Can replace torch with serverside torch casting realistic shadows, so you can see other peoples torches.
Money sink - takes money out of economy
Possibly allow choice between torch, night vision and thermal vision
Disadvantages:
Some ppl like torchs
Some ppl enjoy looking at torches
Some ppl are partial to the sound of torches
Some ppl need torches to see
Some ppl like flashing their torches at people
Some ppl need torches to feel secure about themselves
Edit: Some people are scared of the dark

Re: Buyable torch
The underground in this map isn't so dark so flashlights are not esential to use the sewers, but they come in handy.
I like how in some other maps certain parts of the tunnels are completely dark so you have to use flashlights.
Having to buy a flashlight would be more realistic, and would gave aditional item to shopkeeper.
Probably wouldn't make it to expencive (I suggest $30), but the idea of having more realistic flashlights (if they exist) sounds good.

Re: Buyable torch
This is a good idea. It will stop idiots going HURR DIS IS FLASHY LOL and turning it on and off again 100000 times. It will also keep shopkeepers busy. Maybe a crappy torch for $30 (low brightness) good torch $70 (medium brightness) and a high powered searchlight torch for $130 (maximum brightness) only if it's possible to change the brightness that is.

Re: Buyable torch
Is there any links for a mod we could use?
Or just an idea of something that could be created?

Re: Buyable torch
I like it, cp gotta spawn with one though.
I was also considering making the camera buyable, rather than spawning with one. Hopefully stop people spamming it, and using it for RP reasons only.

Re: Buyable torch
I'd say remove camera completely, for screenshots you can use F5, camera is just for spam.
Re: Buyable torch
Camera got a nice zoom tbh
I could edit camera to remove flash I think

Re: Buyable torch
I have used the camera as "Binoculars" since I found out you could in HGRP. If the flash was removed it would be awesome.
