Whats the map going to be?

I'd like to know what the maps gonna be, entirely up to Daniel ofc, but.. what are other peoples opinions? I'd like it to be downtown_v2

I've been on this one. It's perfect for serious RP, sets a really good atmosphere.

I just realised while on it there arnt anysewers and its pretty big...so cars or at least a moped would be needed

Maps like that require big downloads, big downloads=Lower population? That's my theory. My vote is any downtown map.

rp_downtown_v4c_v3 -> Is way too big, it lookes like an awesome map but I can't imagine us to fill it up, and if we did there would be a lack of rp in general as nobody would see each-other.

I think it will end up being rp_downtown v2 as its compact and RP can take place - the server will also populate easy.

at least ocasionally try rp_warun a2 its about the same size as V2 if not a little smaller

It's too hl2 themed, and it also looks like a wrecked/destroyed town, also too many little secret places and stuff. Not really what I was looking for.

I'd say let the server start off on downtown_v2. Then it will get populated faster like Daniel said and this will get us a bigger community. Once we get like 30/30 in the server often I think it should be time to change to a bigger downtown.

Maybe something simple and mainstream to start off with? Then if we have a massive community get a bigger map or something?

Personally, I think a different map besides downtown v2 COULD work, but I'm one of the few people who doesn't have a problem with it

Downtown V2 is a good map I don't mind it.

The RP was really good in Downtown_v2

People get bored of downtown v2 really fast but it's perfect to start with.

Alright Deal is we start of with downtown V2 after say a month we experiment with different maps.

Maybe more than a month. We might stick to v2 if it does well and if everyone is happy enough with it. Just keep it until we get bored.

It was always going to be downtown_v2 - whether that's permanently or for a certain amount of time is different.
Unless there is a map that can provide RP, that isn't too big or hl2 themed - and is actually good may, we may change to after a few months of being on downtown_v2. It certainly won't be downtown_v4 as that proved a disaster.
