Finally something good Empty Finally something good

Tomorrow I will receive my new PC and once it is set up correctly I will get Unity 3D to create 3D games or at least, try to Razz I will finally be able to create a decent game once I've "mastered" the program and 3D modelling. I've recently been looking at Indie games made with Unity and have been taking ideas from their projects. It's quite intirresting actually, knowing how many good designers there are and how many people don't know about them and their games. Thought I would share this with you and ask you, "What genre should I look into making?"

If you're looking for something easy I'd say something TDM related. Something like TF2. If you want a challenge, make something like Skyrim.

I love doom, But tbh, I want to make something different. Something original. FPS Horror RPG Sandbox game is what i'm aiming for now. All 4 of my favourite genres. A bit like a zombie apocalypse but not a zombie apocalypse. Any suggestions on theme? for example steam punk?

Survival horror is like..
the Alien vs. Predator game (not colonial marines, that sucked) as a marine. Just one single person with aliens everywhere. You can defend yourself in survival horror games but its still scary.

Slender is some sort of horror game based on jumpscares. Not survivalhorror.

and for the horror game we are talking about.. i suggest a hunted house.. where you hear sounds from the rooms on the other side of doors.. with jumpscares and ghosts.. (remember a real good story) ..
